Drove from Sunderland today for an 8.30am appointment. I was 6 minutes late due to traffic and apologised to the receptionist, only to be given my keys back because I was told I wasn’t allowed to wait around whilst the car was being checked. The receptionist said he made this clear over the phone when I booked my appointment last week. After mentioning that I came all the way from Sunderland and don’t know the local area well, I suggested I could walk around nearby until they diagnose the problem on my car. The receptionist still insisted I take my keys back and go elsewhere. Needless to say, I was speechless. The fact there were seats in the reception area give the impression you are allowed to wait whilst your car was being seen to was pretty clear. This actually demonstrates customer care from a first time visitor like myself. There is also the crucial fact a customer who was served alongside me said her residence was too far and so will also be walking around the local area. The receptionist accepted it this with a smile. This absolutely disgusted me. Now I felt genuinely discriminated against. Whilst I felt the urge to further question his double standards, the conversation was concluded; take my business elsewhere and don’t come back. And sadly, that’s what I will be doing.

Took my modern classic mr2 in for electrical repair on the recommendation of a friend. Returned 6 Days later to pick the car up and noticed marks and tears on leather seats as well as rips in vinyl that I know weren’t there before. Heater switch was also jammed. When confronted with these issues Kevin was extremely adamant they were nothing to do with them and denied any responsibility. Total repair bill cost me £282, much more expensive than what I was expecting and despite paying this I felt my concerns about the interior were completely ignored. Very disappointed overall as I expected more professionalism especially after reading some of the reviews. Time to find a new electrician for my cherished mr2.
