All estimates and or quotations have been compiled on the basis of the work as agreed and detailed in the estimate and or quotation or that may be contained in drawings and or specifications supplied to MCT Electrical (East Anglia) Ltd. Any alterations, additions amendments and or variations, will be subject to a revised costing and may involve interim invoices becoming payable. Should the work be delayed beyond the original estimated completion date for reasons outside the control of MCT Electrical (East Anglia) Ltd. interim invoices will be issued and will become payable in accordance with our Payment Terms. All estimates exclude making good or the decoration of any walls surfaces and the like or other structures in order for the agreed works to be carried out. This estimate excludes removal and disposing of any waste materials. We will exercise care when working in tiled areas but do not take responsibility for any damage nor for the cost of their replacement should tiles need to be removed to allow the agreed works to be carried out.

Payment Terms

Payment is due from the date of completion of the work unless we have agreed in writing to vary this.

Where we agree in writing to payment by a “schedule of payments” the payments dates and terms will be specified in the estimate and or at a subsequent time that agreement is given in writing. Such “schedule of payments” will be payable in accordance with the Payment Terms as follows: -

Should it be necessary to issue a reminder and payment remains outstanding after a further 7 days from the date of issue of the reminder interest will accrue at the rate of 8% per month calculated daily on the total outstanding amount in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Payment can be made by bank transfer. Account Name: MCT Electrical (East Anglia) Ltd. Account Number: 27506368 Sort Code: 30-99-97 or by cheque payable to MCT Electrical (East Anglia) Ltd.

Please note that an administration charge of £100 will be levied for each occasion where a cheque is required to be represented to cover our and our bankers’ administration costs.

VAT cost as specified by HMRC will be included in any invoice and will be payable in addition to estimated labour and parts charges shown on any estimates.

Guarantee

Our work is guaranteed for a period of 6 months from the date of installation, resulting from manufacturer’s defects and or faulty workmanship.
This warranty does not apply: -

Should it subsequently prove that a part is not defective or there is no faulty workmanship a minimum charge of £150 will apply to cover the costs of investigation.

Any dissatisfaction with the work carried out must be notified within 14 days of completion or as soon as reasonably practicable.

We hold Public and Products Liability insurance with a limit of liability for any one occurrence and in total of £5,000,000.

All quotations are valid for a period of 14 days.

After this period it may be necessary to re-quote for the proposed work due to potential movement in supplier’s prices.
