Tricia Holford5 StarJames did the first-fix of cables and then installed Bakelite switches and sockets and pendant lighting in our soon-to-be study in our barn conversion, working round the unfinished joinery. Helpfully, he had come prepared with the brown twisted cable we needed to extend the pendant. My sister and I had made several changes to the original quote but James was very accommodating and patient, and we liked his can-do attitude with the fiddly things that weren't straightforward - such as when we discovered the cable in the apex of the roof had been covered over, and James had to remove timber to access the cable again. Without sucking air through his teeth and shaking his head! He arrived on time and worked quickly and left the room tidy, and his price was very reasonable. We can heartily recommend his work and would definitely ask him to do other electrical work.Friday 23rd April 2021

The cause was identified quickly and everything was thoroughly tested, checked with new lights and cables installed. Simon Evans5 StarJames did the electrics for a rearrangement of our house and did the work to a high standard. He took the time to understand what we were hoping for, double-checked before starting that we were happy with how he was going to do it and was happy to make adjustments along the way. It really felt like he made a lot of effort to achieve what we'd ideally wanted. After he finished, we found small examples of the effort he took to ensure the same high standard throughout, even in places that are out of sight.
