Polite and incredibly helpful, they had to remove the entire light cluster on my van to change the indicator bulb and did so straight away and made no charge for fitting. Super service these guys are the most helpful I’ve encountered.

Rang your Elswick branch on Saturday to arrange a MOT. The worker I spoke to on the phone and the worker I spoke to upon collection (Wednesday around 4pm) was extremely well mannered and polite. I had rang a number of garages on Saturday and felt your staff were the most professional and helpful and as a young woman who doesn’t know much about cars, your staff members assisted me greatly. The car needed quite abit of work and I was further pleased to hear that a payment plan could be arranged and to be honest, I thought it was going to to cost a lot more.

Took my car a mercedes for major service, since halford in metrocentre have serviced, the car making strange noise, the assessments states springs broken, I took the car to another garage they said nothing is broken, I am in puzzled what they have done to car? never again will use halford

Visited Halfords Newcastle (Scotswood) for an MOT inspection. Car had failed and I was told i'd need 2 Front Wishbone Assemblies for £650. I asked for specifics as to why and was told "boot". With no additional detail. I took my car, as the car was still safe to drive for 2 days before MOT expiry. Drove to a Local Independent garage for MOT Inspection (and they were quite interested in my story). They assured me the Boot had grease, but in no way a fail, merely advisory. It's worth mentioning occupation is Mechanical Engineering, which I had not told Halfords and after questioning specifics on the failure originally, I was given incredibly vague details. Would not recommend, as they were in my opinion looking for work. Edit: I had thought MOT's were valid till end of month, but had a phone notification on a Sunday that my MOT was due by the Wednesday , and the only garage you can book is Halfords via online on a Sunday. Book local independent in advance is my learning.
