awal3 StarSpent a whopping £780 for MOT and service, plus repairs for MOT.
I'm sure i could of got it cheaper but my fault for leaving the MOT till last minute, so just went with it.
No real complaint there, but first thing i noticed when picking up my car was the windscreen washer light was on advising empty screen wash. Topping up is part of "Interim Service", if they forgot to do that, what else have they "forgotten"?? Little things like this does affect my confidence with using Halfords and i may well rethink and try somewhere else next time.Friday 26th November 2021
Ken Buckle5 StarI bought a car 5 days ago and the garage I purchased it from referred me to Halfords to get a problem with a noisy front wheel repaired. I chose the Halfords Roseville Road Autocentre.
The manager Mat advised that there was a problem with the front brakes and he would liaise with the garage from where I bought the car. I raised concerns about the condition of the battery and Mat checked that out too and found it was not holding its charge.
Mat very kindly agreed to discuss that with the garage too.
Because of his intervention, my faulty front brakes were replaced along with the battery, paid for by the garage from whom I purchased the car.
I found Mat's customer service to be above and beyond what I was expecting.
Mat and the mechanic Luke were both helpful and friendly, keeping me informed at every step of the way.
I am delighted with the outcome and recommend Halfords Autocentre in Roseville Road, Leeds.Wednesday 25th August 2021
