The "manager" has a reputation of a horrid attitude locally and my oh my does it show in branch, what a rotten apple. Will not use again. Many locals going elsewhere one star is one too many for the face of Halfords. Rude. Arrogant. Dismissive. Costing the company thousands no doubt week on week. Used to be so warm and friendly. Customers talk with thier feet take note empty workshop tells a story.

Ron and Garry at the Durham branch were absolutely fantastic when I took my car in for service and mot. Wouldn’t take my car any where else, the customer service and work completed was second to none. Would highly recommend!

Staggering arrogant stance Took car to have new sensors fitted in wheels, asked to have wheels balanced, this was done but car had noticeable vibration coming from the front of the car took car back and was assured wheels were balanced perfectly i then booked car in with a specialist who diagnosed the issue to incorrectly balanced front wheels, when I called into the branch I was told they were correct and nothing could be done, spoke to customer service who referred it back to branch who reiterated there stance, it wasn’t about the cost, it was about someone admitting that maybe, possibly they may have made a mistake but although I have to say they were pleasant the way in which the issue was dealt with was very poor, the arrogance of the stance taken is staggering, as it seemed in perceivable that they could have possibly got this one wrong even when presented with an invoice post dating there’s for wheel balancing. Mistakes do happen, the mark of a business is how they are dealt with, I’m afraid Halfords fell short this time, need to find another garage as I can’t continue to patronise this branch.

Service went well, I could tell work had been done. Small issue with time factor and I need not have had to taken my car in so early. I feel it could have been explained better.
