I would definitely say I'm disappointed, I rent out a property to disabled couple and dew to the person's health he needed a humidity extraction fan fitted. So I bought one and all the stuff needed to be fitted, so I asked this company to go and fit it, the 1st the went round they didn't have a core drill bit and to the tenants they would contact me and rearrange, but they never did. The second time on coming they did job but not as I said. The lady at House said here the fan and the guy said we already have one, so not fitting the right thing. Job done. After receiving the invoice I checked through it and I was shocked and disappointed that people think they can get one over people that are in a bad way. They put down that they where at the house for 2 and half hours, when It was on 1 hour 10 minutes as I'd asked the lady in house to time it, which she did. They changed me for all suff that I had supplied, but they decided to use there own so they could charge for it. I spoke to a nice fella called Seb on the phone who came up with some great excuses for the people who did job. Seb did go around rectify the job but for all the stress It caused the couple I wouldn't use these again. It's all about the money .

Unresponsive. I called and left a message, asking about a potential new job. No reply. I called again and spoke to the admin person. An appointment was arranged but nobody turned up. No explanation or apology. I called again, and left a message asking what was happening. No reply.

Both Howard and his referrals were reliable and professional. I'm thrilled with the speed and quality of the work, and would highly recommend Hartley Electrical to other commercial clients.

Howard comes across very well, is thoughtful and professional when he quotes work. The work we had was carried out at a reasonable time and to a reasonable standard under some short notice due to Mr Hartley managing his other projects effectively utilizing his work force for us. The work we had done was quite pricey but I suppose you expect this from tradesmen these days and later if we had said we wanted to pay cash we would have beem able to get a discount. Overall I'm satisfied. The work we had done included: 1. TV cables being redirected and ducting down to sockets to hide our cables from a wall mounted TV as well as; 2. fitting a new isolator in the kitchen for an electric oven, hob and extractor fan. My only annoyance was that the work included only some rough plaster work which we had to sand down and make right ourselves. Total cost £735 (including VAT) for 2 days work and a 2 man job for 1 of those days. He also gave us a few months to pay things up as we are a young couple and have just bought our first house. Thanks again
