A Brief History
Starting as a small electrical car parts business in the outskirts of Coventry in August 1966, Carwood quickly developed a high-quality remanufacturing operation for starters and alternators as well as becoming a thriving regional battery distributor.
Over the years the company expanded and diversified into the diesel and auto electrical markets, always striving to keep customer service at the forefront of the business. With a shrewd eye for commercial opportunities, a number of strategic acquisitions were made over the last half century or so.

Jason Gibson1 StarBooked in for a tachograph recalibraþion this morning at 10, was told it would be 1 hour. Came back an hour later and hadn't been started. Was given a pretty flimsy excuse and told to wait. After a further half an hour I asked what was happening as I could see my vehicle still hadn't moved, was then told they were about to do it then which would be another hour.
Left without getting the work done, no apology forthcoming, they've lost my business and won't use them again.Friday 3rd September 2021

When three other garages were unable to diagnose the fault showing up on the dash and the warnings light were on, these guys found it fixed it.

Zeshan Hussain1 StarI am appalled with the service i have been provided with, i have been overcharged on a radiator repair on my car, their colossal labour prices illustrated me with a £500 bill, I'm a young student working 2 jobs with very little income and i have been absolutely ripped off here. There is a lack of guidance and communication from this company not advising me before that i would be slapped with this vicious bill, if i had known this company rips of its consumers i would have refrained from ever coming here however i made the mistake and i want to deter anyone else from making the same mistake i made in trusting this companyFriday 23rd April 2021

Zaman Khan1 StarCharged my boy 300 quid to change two coolant pipes. We live in a country where heart surgery is free 🤦🤦. Mugged him off charged him 72 quid for diagnostics like they're superman with some special holagraphic eyesight. My boy had already diagnosed it but they decided it was in his best interest to diagnose again 🧐. Absolute scams stay clear of these money grabbersSaturday 24th April 2021
